Mesothelioma-Search-Engine.com Launched!
As you may have seen, the Mesothelioma Search Engine has finally moved out of development and into production. While there were many technical and design issues that were addressed in our first full project, Vioxx Search Engine, we ran into a few things that caused the project to be delayed longer than I would have liked. Still, it's better to release a good product late, than a poor product early, no matter how the success of Microsoft might indicate otherwise...!
The initial database of indexed sites is fairly small, but still returning pretty good results for most queries we have tested. I noticed about 6 times the site was book marked, and this must be from people that checked out the domain name and wanted to see if we were really going to be some kind of search engine, or another garden variety pseudo-information site, plastered with paid ads and mesothelioma lawyer links. To be sure we need to support the site and will have mesothelioma lawyer links as well if they contact us about advertising, but the main focus will just be on building the site content and returning good search results.
We do have one law firm that has agreed to work with any potential clients we may send them. I have checked into their background a little and they seem like they have the experience people will need and will care about them to some extent beyond the fees they earn from them.
